On 17 October, a full-day workshop was held at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the Universidad del País Vasco / Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (UPV/EHU) in Leioa, organised by the quantum science and technology community of the Basque Country. The event — the 8th Basque Quantum Science and Technology Workshop / 4th BasQ/IKUR Quantum Science and Technology Workshop — brought together researchers, PhD students and postdocs from a wide variety of quantum-related fields, with the aim of fostering interaction, exchanging ideas and promoting future collaborations.
We would like to thank the organisers — Géza Giedke (DIPC/Ikerbasque) and Enrique Rico (EHU/Ikerbasque) — and all participating institutions for making the event possible. The initiative was supported by DIPC – Donostia International Physics Center, the EHU Quantum Centre, Euskampus, IKUR and BasQ.
