Last Tuesday, January 20, we had the opening of the EHU Quantum Center Gela*. This is a fully-equipped videoconference room that will be used as the central space to hold events such as courses, workshops, and scientific discussions for and by the EHU QC community. The event was hosted by Aitor Bergara (EHU QC Director), Fernando Plazaola (Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology), and Estitxu Garai Artetxe (Vice Chancellor of the Bizkaia Campus and Communication).

*Gela is the Basque word for “classroom” (aula in Spanish).
